Seussical - Fall 2016

RCT lit up the stage on December 2-4 & December 9-11, 2016 with the production of Seussical! It  is a magical story narrated by none other than the Cat in the Hat. He takes us thru the wild journey to the Jungle of Nool where we discover the kind hearted Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, Mayzie la Bird, and JoJo.

Horton discovers a speck of dust containing Whoville and all the loveable Who’s. There he meets JoJo, a Who child sent to military school for thinking too many “thinks”. Horton decides he must protect the speck of dust on a nearby clover, while at the same time protecting an abandoned egg left to his care by the lazy Mayzie la Bird. Horton tries to convince the other animals in The Jungle of the existence of the Whos, but he is ridiculed and put on trial. Only his loyal neighbor, Gertrude McFuzz, never loses faith in him. Seussical is the ultimate tale of friendship, loyalty and love.
